POEM

“To the bath
To the bath
To the bath we go.

Oh, whoa whoa
Oh, whoa whoa.”

We sing this song
As we gather around the tub.

We’ve played a bit
And just eaten grub.

Water, bubbles and toys;
Our faces, full of pure joy. 

Making sure the temperature is right
Checking the diaper,
in case there’s more than meets the eye.

We sing together,
We dance in the mirror.

Our purpose here
Couldn’t be clearer:

To share in these times
And be with one another.

Present to what is,
As we wait for little brother.
