POEM

We look through the window,
Up at the sky.
It’s breezy out,
The clouds roll by.

The moon is full
And shining bright.
It makes me ask
What life was like,

When we slept under the stars.
And thought about who we are.

When I say we,
I mean us. 
The moon speaks.
It wants to discuss

Our past, present, future.
Binding together; a healing suture. 

A stitch that leads to now.
As we look through the window
Up at the sky 
Continually asking why.
